Nitol Insurance Company Limited (NICL) is a Non-Life Insurance Company incorporated in Bangladesh on October 04, 1999 as a Public Limited Company under the Companies Act, 1994. The company has been given registration by the Department of Insurance, Govt. of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to carry on insurance business in Bangladesh in respect of Motor, Marine, Fire and Miscellaneous with effect from November 18, 1999. Mr. A K M Monirul Hoque is the founder Chairman of NICL. The initial paid up capital of the company was Tk. 6 Crore. In the year 2005, the Company raised the capital to Tk. 9 Crore through IPO and listed with Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited (CSE). Now the paid-up capital stands to Tk. 40,20,76,390/.

Nitol Insurance Company Limited combined its 26 branches under the umbrella through real time online branch network with integrated insurance software.
